Jungle Quest Play for Free:
My take on Jungle quest:
Jungle quest is a fun new match 3 puzzle game that has great graphics and sound as well as a creative twist on game play and level design. As you make chains of matches, your mana meter fills up that when charged give you access to spells. The spells vary, but for the most part they are used to destroy a specific shape or and area of the board. Some allow you to swap two colors so that you can target an elusive match. It has all of the classic match 3 elements including power ups, a magic meter and timed levels. If you can’t complete the level in the allotted amount of time you’ll need to try it again.
You complete each level by unlocking the crystals that are contained within some of the shapes and each level progression requires additional crystals to be unlocked. If you rock through the level and do well, you’ll end up with coins that can be used for upgrades and spells.
Jungle quest game play is separated into different episodes, which are then divided into levels. The story is told with a comic book look-and-feel, and I thought the art was really well done (not Rembrandt, but regardless I found it pleasing J ) The story line for the plot wasn’t really anything to get excited about, essentially you’re searching for the fountain of youth to cure a mysterious virus that’s rapidly spreading and various clues across the world provide you with different backdrops for game play.
It’s a good game worth playing if you enjoy match three puzzle games.
