Build-a-lot 3: Passport to Europe is an incredibly addicting game that has all of the elements that made the first two Build a lot games fun plus some great new additiions to the game play. This game is fast paced and almost constantly challenging, on any number of levels I ended up replaying it, and admittedly I wasn’t able to get expert on a few of the levels. The good news is if you’re stuck, you can skip to any level and you can go back and replay it later, and if you want a break from campaign mode you can head into casual mode where you can play around and take as long as you need.

 This time around, you’re playing in Europe which offers a great look and feel for the game due to the character of the buildings from
countries like England, Spain and Switzerland. The game controls are very intuitive and the delicate balance between information overall and just enough detail is spot on. I found the game play was kept fresh because you’re not just stuck in one location, you’re traveling from one country to another each new level so you don’t get tired of staring at the same buildings.

One of the new features that I found added some variety to the game play was that the game now has snow and rain that not only add another level of detail and realism but also affect how long you can make repairs for any of the outdoor jobs. The game also keeps you on your toes by adding things like fires and uruly neighbors blasting their music that need to be visited by the police in order to encourage them to quite down. If you’re waiting around even for three or four seconds, you aren’t playing the game properly, Build-a-lot 3 has great pacing that keeps you on your toes and always planning ahead.

If it gets too hectic, though, you can always pause the game to collect your thoughts until you’ve worked out a strategy for tackling the level.

Build-a-lot 3 really has great replay value. If you are at all interested in real estate/construction strategy game play or enjoy strategy games I really think you should give this game a try. It’s just great!crisis’s, you can’t collect rent on the property.
